A well-known comedian has been forced to issue a lengthy apology after calling Beyonce’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, ugly like Jay-Z.
Funky Dineva was a guess on the controversial show The Queen’s Court with TS Madison’s show when the disturbing comment was made.
The comedian was destroyed by people on social media, prompting him to say sorry to the Carter family.
Dineva went on to say: “I’m upset with myself. I’ve said some off the wall things before in the name of comedy, and I’ve stood by them all and defended them all, and told the general public, you know, ‘Forget you. You’re just going to have to be mad.’ But this is one of those things that I’m not proud of. I can’t stand in this one.”

Social media rose up against Funky Dineva for his comments. Funky Dineva got a lot of unwanted attention after his last appearance on TS Madison’s show, The Queen’s Court. When the guests were taking shots at Jay-Z’s looks, Dineva decided to shift the heat towards the rapper’s 7-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, calling the child “ugly.” Social media responded in anger. Funky Dineva has since filmed a video to address the situation and apologize to The Carters as well as their fans. In the clip available below, the man acknowledges that the words he chose while being “in character” were “gross,” considering the fact that he is a “grown ass man” who took aim at a “defenseless” child for the sake of a punchline. “I’m upset with myself. I’ve said some off the wall things before in the name of comedy, and I’ve stood by them all and defended them all, and told the general public, you know, ‘Forget you. You’re just gonna have to be mad.’ But this is one of those things that I’m not proud of. I can’t stand in this one” He goes on to say that he feels ashamed about the situation: “I recognize wholeheartedly that what I did was wrong…Find it in your hearts to forgive me. Hopefully, we can get past this.” He promises to make efforts in the future to be more mindful of his jokes and “be a better wordsmith when it comes to people’s children.” Peep the video along with clips of the initial comments in the FULL story at www.itsKenBarbie.com (or SWIPE for clips) Does the Beyhive accept Dineva’s apology? #beyoncé #beyonce #beyhive #beysus #blueivy #blueivycarter #funkydineva #queenscourt #jayz #hov #thecarters #everythingislove #tsmadison #tiffanypollard #entertainment #entertainmentnews #entertainmentblog
Dineva also stated: “I recognize wholeheartedly that what I did was wrong…Find it in your hearts to forgive me. Hopefully, we can get past this.”
One person reacted to story by saying: “Anytime you go after a child, no matter who they are you are seriously out of line. Children are off limits PERIOD, POINT, BLANK, FLAT OUT! There is nothing petty, funny about that. Some of these new online comedians are disrespectful. Being petty, gross, rude is different than roasting someone funny.”
This person defended the comedian: “For the folks who are saying that his career is over REALLY needs to stop reaching. Everybody and they mama has called, that child names since the first pictures were posted now everybody wants to act offended Hell, my mother called my daughter ugly when she came to the hospital to visit us. Matter fact her exact words were she looks like a wet rat I hope she gets cuter grandma still luvs you.”
Another person shared: “I love him, and I respect his growth. In terms of speaking your opinion, its best to think 3 times before you speak. I used to follow him and had to unfollow. This is the self-hating level. What he said about that child was unacceptable. I think blue ivy is a beautiful little girl.
This follower wrote: “The lies, the lies!! I’m not buying his fake apology He knew wtf he was saying before he said it, but he said it anyway. That’s a child, somebody’s child I don care who she belongs to, his so-called old comedian was definitely out of line for speaking on something he doesn’t have #kids, and I hope Maddie never invite his hating face back on her show!!”
Many commenters say this was unnecessary.
