Claire Holt is currently expecting her second addition to the family and she took to social media to get candid about some of her thoughts and concerns. That being said, it turns out that the actress is feeling really ‘stressed’ over the postpartum period this time around.
Claire Holt impressed her many followers with her honesty this weekend, aside from also showing off her baby bump on her Instagram page.
The Originals star opened up about what has been on her mind lately as far as the yet to be born baby is concerned and the whole process after giving birth.
As fans know, Claire Hold is expecting her and husband Andrew Joblon’s second baby together and she is really close to the due date, which must also be why her worries are at a peak during this time.
‘35 WEEKS. I am excited to meet this little girl but I am SO anxious about losing it again. The recovery, sleep deprivation, feedings, two kids 17 months apart, a pandemic… It is a lot. I know just how lucky I am and I know each stage is temporary, but I’m still feeling stressed about how I’ll cope mentally,’ the actress honesty confessed in the caption.
She went on to say that ‘I think it’s important to share that I have always had help. I never want to pretend that I do it on my own (I am completely in awe of women who do). That being said, I still felt overwhelmed, embarrassed/guilty that I was struggling, and not at all like myself after I gave birth.’
At the end of her very candid message, the actress asked her millions of followers for any advice and tips they may have that could help her out this time around!
Thankfully, she got a lot of that in the comment section and hopefully, she feels better and more prepared to take on this challenge now.
