The nephew of the former president, John F. Kennedy, Christopher Lawford, died at the age of 63-years according to reports. A law enforcement said to reporters from TMZ.com that the actor had a medical emergency while working at a yoga studio, and then he later died suddenly.
The coroners office said to reporters from Fox News that they’re currently not in possession of the body. For the last twenty days before his untimely passing, Lawford was in Los Angeles County.
Lawford’s publicist claimed they didn’t realize Chris had died, and it was all “news to her.” Kerry Kennedy took to Twitter to share her condolences.
As fans of the actor know, he has had a long and illustrious career as a soap opera star, including in General Hospital, All My Children, as well as in big budget films like Terminator 3 and the legendary sitcom, Frasier, in addition to other television shows.
Chris was affiliated with politics like the rest of his family. The actor had a position in the Democratic National Committee for a long time, where he worked alongside his deceased uncle, Ted Kennedy.
Thus far, a report from TMZ claims that Lawford died due to natural causes. Christopher’s father, Peter, was also an actor, who passed away in 1984.
Reportedly, Peter was actually most known later in his career for his activities not as an actor, but for his off-screen behavior. However, at the beginning of his career, he starred in a number of different acclaimed films and productions.
Peter is a lesser known member of the Rat Pack and is the brother-in-law to John F Kennedy. His first wife, Pat Kennedy, was the sister of John F Kennedy, and they had four children together, of which Chris was one.
