The world is waiting for their favorite celebrity couple to have their baby: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. Chrissy’s second child is currently on the way, and according to reports, it appears we don’t have to wait much longer.
When speaking with the host of the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday, the Sports Illustrated model revealed she, John, and their first daughter, Luna, are ready for their second bundle-of-joy and it will probably arrive in June.
Teigen said she’s “having a baby boy in the spring,” before revealing the exact month. The 32-year-old supermodel said “names are tough,” and coming up with one has proven to be more difficult than expected.
The model joked that the likelihood of the baby boy getting a middle name is low considering they can’t even come up with the first one.
As for how they came up with the title for their daughter, Luna, Chrissy revealed that one night she and John were hanging out and there was a “blood moon,” outside their door.
It was “big, red, and vivid,” and “just gorgeous.” Teigen stated, as a child, she loved the idea of going to space and as a result, came up with the name Luna – inspired by the type of rays from the moon.
Additionally, Chrissy divulged on Ellen’s party for her 60th birthday on the 10th of February. DeGeneres revealed last week the event was “filled with celebrities and booze” – undoubtedly inspiring FOMO from all of her fans.
When the talk show host asked Chrissy if she had fun, the model said it was like all of the award’s ceremonies wrapped up in one “gorgeous tent.”
However, there is always at least one less-than-perfect moment. Teigen said her selfie with the Kardashians was challenging because Teigen always looks, “mean-faced.”
Her husband on the other hand, “just enjoys living life,” so a smile comes naturally.
