Chrissy Teigen Accused Of Stealing Famous Banana Bread Recipe!
It seems as though while people are confined to their homes, they are spending more time cooking and exploring new recipes. Fresh off the heels of some other food related drama, Chrissy Teigen has been accused of copying her famous banana bread recipe.
Before mass hysteria ensued, Chrissy and John Legend trended on social media for trading banana bread for some lettuce. Now, the dish isn't as funny as it once was.
In her 2018 cookbook titled Cravings, the standout ingredient in her recipe was instant vanilla pudding. Fans applauded the model for making the common dessert more moist.
A social media user tweeted: 'You can’t cook or not copy someone’s idea from their cookbook! It’s copying even tho you changed one thing! Come up with your own shit! Ya f***** bum! Chef Mike saw your s**t and might file a suit! I just saw you review and he called me! Stick with your Phillipino s***.'
To which Chrissy responded with: 'No idea who chef mike is but he probably wouldn’t be happy to learn that you, a friend of his worthy of calling, is outing him about his impending lawsuit.
The enraged follower added: 'Oh and he called me because his NY restaurant is closed and was reading the article about you and that sparked his rage. Yes, he cooked for your family too. I told him he should do a virtual restaurant show, to show the cooking to table and how things work.'
To which Teigen clapped back: 'please tell me who this chef mike is? so I can speak to him? I have never stolen a recipe from anyone and I actively talk about the restaurants I love. imagine the ego to think someone is copying you when they haven't heard of you?'
This comes after she publicly accepted Alison Roman's apology who slammed her and Marie Kondo's brands .
Do you think Chrissy borrowed her idea from another chef?
