Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is less than a year removed from his split with Anna Faris, but the 38-year-old isn’t giving up on love. Cameras spotted Pratt on a picnic date last weekend with Katherine Schwarzenegger – the 28-year-old daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver – and he looked smitten while making his lady laugh.
According to TMZ, Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s date took place in Santa Barbara, after he picked her up at her place and drove her up the coast. Cameras have caught Pratt flirting before, but this is the first time we have seen him on an actual date since he filed for divorce in December.
Schwarzenegger does have some famous Hollywood parents, but she is not in the business. She is a lifestyle blogger and interior designer. And, she looked happy on her date with the Parks and Recreation star.

At the recent MTV Movie & TV Awards, Pratt received the “Generation Award,” and he had some humorous advice – nine essential life rules – for those sitting in the audience and watching on TV.
“I accept the responsibility as your elder, so listen up,” Pratt said. “Number one? Breathe. If you don’t, you’ll suffocate.”
His second rule was, “You have a soul. Be careful with it,” and number three was,” Don’t be a turd.”
His next few lessons included the best way to use the bathroom at a party and how to give a dog medicine. But then he switched things up and shared some more profound words of wisdom – with rule six and eight being the most popular on social media.
“God is real. God loves you. God wants the best for you. Believe that. I do,” Pratt said. “Learn to pray. It’s easy and it’s so good for your soul.”
Then, Pratt ended his speech with his last rule that nobody is perfect. He told the audience that there is a powerful force that designed each of them, and if you willingly accept that, you will have the gift of grace. He then said that someone else’s blood paid for that grace – just like the freedom we enjoy in America – and we shouldn’t forget it.
Pratt’s on-screen love from Parks and Recreation, Aubrey Plaza, and his Jurassic World co-star Bryce Dallas Howard presented him with the award.
Chris Pratt also gave a special mention to his 5-year-old son, Jack, and thanked his family for their support.
