If you're watching the Halloween-timed, Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina , you've quickly realized this is not the same series as Sabrina the Teenage Witch . Chilling Adventures of Sabrina uses a lot of Satanic themes such as an unholy baptism and features scenes of the devil or Dark Lord where he is depicted as Baphomet.

While those themes and the dark content of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina may give some parents pause about letting their children watch the show, there is another aspect stirring controversy: The replica of a Baphomet statue that Lucien Greaves says was ripped off from his very own monument.

Greaves is the head of the Satanic Temple and back in August, he and his church members sparked outrage, debate, and support when he wheeled his 7 ½-foot-tall statue of Baphomet surrounded by a young boy and girl at the Arkansas Capitol.

Now, he is threatening to take legal action after discovering the Bapthomet statue in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina  looks nearly identical to the one he created for his protest.

You may see a picture of the Baphomet statue in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the one that Lucien Greaves brought to Arkansas in the tweets below.

Greaves addressed the issue on social media Monday after the statue of Baphomet that appeared in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was pointed out to him .

Greaves shared the following statement on Twitter.

"Yes, we are taking legal action regarding #TheChillingAdventuresofSabrina appropriating our copyrighted monument design to promote their asinine Satanic Panic fiction."

Lucien Greaves not only took issue with Netflix using the Baphomet likeness without his permission, but also stated the television series' use of the statue misrepresents the idea of why it was created.

Anyone who is curious as to how this legal threat will play out is encouraged to see Lucien Greave's tweets directly. He has addressed several comments in response to those who question why he wants to fight this.

A Twitter user made the comparison of the Baphomet statue to that of an  artist creating a peice of work and then having that work represented in a stereotypical and negative manner.

What do you think about this controversy? Do you agree that Lucien Greaves' rights were infringed upon and his artwork's use violated his property? Or do you side with creators of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina?

I liked when he compared it to an anti-Semitic practice the week of shooting and harassed a show writer on twitter.
