Baby Chicago West is making her big debut on social media thanks to her mom, Kim Kardashian.
When Kardashian and Kanye West first welcomed their third child into the world, the happy parents unveiled a sweet photo using a Snapchat filter.
This time around, there are no filters no gimmicks, just Chicago’s sweet face. The little girl is Kardashian’s twin with a hint of aunty Kendall Jenner.
In the snapshot, the two-month-old is in a pink onesie and smiling from ear to ear. The baby was born via surrogate because Kardashian had two complicated pregnancies.
Many people do not understand the process of sperm, egg, and surrogacy and therefore, confusion ensues.
Luckily there are a few educated mothers who are willing to explain how baby Chi was conceived and why she looks like her mama.
One person said: “Yeah it’s kind of scary to think about I guess for some people but when you’re carrying a baby there’s a lot of bodily fluids involved and not all of them can be blocked from mixing so sometimes some of the DNA gets mixed. But it is such a small amount that doctors aren’t too concerned about it because if they were surrogates wouldn’t be a thing at the end of the day the surrogate only carried the baby, but it was Kim egg and Kanye Sperm.”
Another commenter stated: “Chicago is toooooo freaking adorable! Why can’t you guys educate yourselves? It’s 2018. It’s a gestational carrier. “the woman carrying the pregnancy is in no way biologically related to the child she is carrying; the eggs and sperm are derived from the “intended parents.” Again it’s Kim’s egg and Kanye’s sperm that’s made this baby you idiot.”
A third fan broke down for others by writing: “Looking like Kim’s twin. The Kardashian gene is strong. Yes, she is so cuteeeee. People are so stupid. It’s Kim’s egg and Kanye’s sperm. That means it’s their DNA. The only thing the surrogate did was carry it!! Like I said, girl… Kim’s egg and Kanye’s sperm. It’s called gestational carriers. Educate yourself PLEASE. Are people this slow in real life??!”
Kardashian is a pioneer in this field because she was very open and honest about it.
