Cheryl Burke is stepping away from social media for the next little while to reorganize her personal life. On Tuesday night, the dancing professional took to her respective social platforms to reveal she wouldn’t be posting for a long time.
Burke wrote on her Twitter that she is “dealing with some personal things” at the moment and needs to take time away from Instagram and other outlets.
In her goodbye letter, the reality star emphasized the importance of people taking the time to express their love, admiration, and respect for those closest to them. The building and fostering of relationships are one of the most important things of all in this life.
She signed off the note with, “Xoxo, Cheryl.” Following the release of her statement, many of her fans were very supportive and praised her courage to do what is right for her.
One person wrote, “good for you Cheryl. At the end of the day, it’s all about you and your life, so if you have to take a break, then so be it.”
As you may know, Cheryl has had a busy year on reality television, competing on Dancing With The Stars along with Terrell Owens, and also working on her CeeBee clothing company which specializes in athletic gear.
Even though Burke is keeping the actual reasons for her social-media-departure on the down-low, she isn’t the first one to do so, as stars ranging from Selena Gomez to Kerry Washington have taken breaks from posting online.
In addition to the stars mentioned above, celebrities such as Ed Sheeran, Iggy Azalea, Demi Lovato, and Kanye West have all taken a step back from Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. However, as most have noticed, they pretty much all come back after a few months.
