Leah Remini hosted a bridal shower for her friend Cheryle Burke, as part of her maid of honor duties. The actress was thrilled to honor Burke, who is set to wed long-time love Matthew Lawrence and day now.

The Dancing With The Stars pro was thrilled and so appreciative of what her pal did to help her celebrate her upcoming nuptials. Burke used social media to praise Remini for giving her a party full of treats, games and oh so much more fun. All had a good time.

"Words cannot fully express how thankful I am for you opening up your home to my family and friends today. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and appreciation," the 34-year-old dancer began her lengthily message.

Burke gushed about how happy she is Remini will be standing by her side on her wedding day. The King of Queens star worked hard to ensure Burke's bridal shower was perfect and plans on doing the same on the day of her wedding.

Both ladies shared some of the party fun in their Instagram stories as well. There was a rainbow cake, the toilet paper wedding dress game, and lots of selfies featuring guests in bunny years. It was a love fest, as several attendees tagged the bride to be in their stories, expressing their happiness and joy for the professional dancer.

Remini also used social media to give her friend a shout out. She shared a picture of the two women together in front of a sign that read Cheryl Matt Love.

"My bride to be @cherylburke! So honored to be your matron of honor. I am so happy for you and @matthewlawrence. Looking forward to being part of your next chapter to be continued...Thank you to all who came and celebrated her!" Remini captioned the post.

Matthew Lawrence and Cheryl Burke got engaged last May, on her 34th birthday. Although they have not revealed their specific wedding date, she has hinted on social media recently that it is coming up this spring. Now that her bridal shower, thrown by her maid of honor Leah Remini, has happened, fans are speculating the nuptials are sooner rather than later.

However, before she walks down the aisle to her adoring fiancé, there has to be a bachelorette party. Fans should be on the lookout for social media posts celebrating Burke's last days a single woman.
