Most of us have to wait until November until Outlander returns to Starz, but lucky fans in Savannah will get the chance to watch the opening episode a week ahead of schedule. That’s right, Outlander just announced that it is premiering Season 4 during the Savannah Film Festival on Oct. 28. And that’s just the start of the good news.
Starz is collaborating with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to host the screening of Outlander’s fourth season. Once the first episode is over, the cast will take part in a panel to chat about the new season.

For fans that cannot make the trip, Starz is planning to live stream the event on Facebook. Producers are also brining along props and costumes from the show, which will proudly be displayed at the SCAD Museum of Art.
Season 4 of Outlander is based on Diana Gabaldon’s novel, Drums of Autumn. The story explores Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie’s (Sam Heughan) journey as they establish themselves in the New World, after being shipwrecked on a beach in Georgia during the Season 3 finale.
The couple will face numerous challenges in America, including coming face to face with the show’s newest villain Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) and navigating the early days of the American Revolution.
One of the biggest storylines, of course, heading into Season 4 is Jamie’s reunion with his daughter, Brianna (Sophie Skelton). Brianna will travel back in time to reunite with Jamie and Claire, though her journey will also face a few pitfalls along the way.

Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin), a historian in the 20th century who helped Claire track down information about Jamie last season, will also go with Brianna on her journey through time.
Season 4 of Outlander is scheduled to premiere on Starz Nov. 4.
