‘Castle’ Actress Stana Katic Reveals Two Years After The Show’s Canceling That The Shocking Ending ‘Hurt’ Her

Castle actress Stana Katic decided to open up about the series’ ending for the first time since its conclusion two years ago. As fans may remember, the unusual end took place amid a lot of real-life drama.
She was let go from the popular show back in 2016 before season nine.
Fans were outraged as much as they were shocked at the time.
Apparently, or at least according to rumors, there was a rift between Katic and her co-star Nathan Fillion.
Soon after, Castle was canceled unexpectedly instead of airing their ninth season.
It was announced that the co-stars simply couldn’t speak to each other on set anymore and that they were attending ‘couples therapy’ in order to solve their differences.
In a brand new interview, Katic revealed that ‘I am actually still not clear on the thought process behind the way it went down. It hurt, and it was a harsh ending.’
But despite the less than ideal ending, the actress admitted she is still lolling back with a lot of fondness on the eight seasons of the series.
‘Now, almost two years later… I met many beautiful people on that project, and we collaborated on something really unique in that it is not every day that you get a show, or a series, which has eight seasons and that it was a hit for the network. It’s be a disservice to those people, to the work we did together, and to my work, which I feel contributed, in part, to the success of the show, to be anything but grateful because, at the end of the day, that was a fantastic platform.’
