The actress and country singer took to social media to share a pic that showed her face – or part of it – for the very first time since her terrifying freak accident at home. As fans remember, Carrie Underwood hurt her face so much after falling down that she needed between 40 and 50 stitches!
As a result, the star isolated herself at home, taking a break from the public life while her injury was healing.
Carrie did, however, warn her many followers before that when she reemerges, she might look completely different from what we were used to.
Although it looks like the pic she shared showed no signs of scarring, she did, however, hold a pretty big red ‘X’ sign over the lower part of her face, covering her mouth and chin.
The snap also featured her hubby Mike Fisher, and was captioned: ‘Together, we are in it to end it! Help us shine a light on modern-day slavery. @enditmovement#enditmovement.’

It has to be noted that the End It Movement is trying to help the millions of people who are sadly ‘trapped, trafficked, exploited and enslaved.’
The goal is to obtain their freedom, as far as the official website explains.
As for the couple, we previously heard that they might be struggling in their marriage, but the man made sure to deny the rumors by claiming that they ‘have never been better.’
So while the many reports were saying that the pair was dealing with significant marital problems, Mike assured us in an Instagram comment that they are still in love and happy together.
Before this new post that showed most of her face, Carrie did post yet another pic featuring her and her 2-year-old son Isaiah, but she turned away from the camera as to conceal her facial injury.
