Carrie Underwood Had To Get 50 Stitches On Her Face Following Her Fall At Home

Carrie Underwood revealed her face might look different after getting around 50 stitches after she fell back in November of 2017. Celebrity Insider reported two months ago that the 34-year-old star suffered a broken wrist, but it turns out that it was much worse than what her fan club reported.
Paraphrasing from the singer’s post, Underwood stated there was another side of the story than the fan club’s perception. Carrie, somehow, managed to injure her face while falling and had to get many stitches which might affect the way she looks from now on.
The country star wrote it’s crazy how a “random freak accident” can change the course of your life. The American Idol alum said to her fans that the doctor told her husband at the time of the fall that she needed many stitches because of the accident.
As for why she didn’t tell the whole story at first, Underwood stated she didn’t want to talk about how bad it was because she was living it still and was uncertain as to how it would end up. However, despite the terrible nature of the accident, she’s grateful it didn’t get much worse.
The mother of one stated she is still excited to make 2018 a great year and is even headed to the studio next week to work on her newest album.
Underwood continued, “I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.” We’re sad to hear the accident permanently disfigured Carrie’s face, but we’re happy she’s optimistic about the future and will continue to record music for her fans. Hopefully, she learns to embrace her new image and make it a part of her character and struggle.
