Carrie Underwood wasn’t in a big hurry to reveal to the world that she was having another child with her husband, Mike Fisher. According to Underwood, there is a certain point “where you’re sure that everything is going well before you let other people in on it.”
The 35-year-old spoke with Pop Culture in an interview published on Tuesday, and claimed that “stuff like that was important.” The famous singer-songwriter explained that it’s better not to “jump the gun” with serious things such as pregnancy, because you never know what’s going to happen.
Many women choose to tell the world of the news when at the 12-week mark. At that point, the chance of having a miscarriage is significantly less. At first, she didn’t plan on telling everyone, but after her baby bump became visible, she realized that she might as well tell everyone.
Underwood joked that when she went to the grocery store when it was 90-degrees outside, it became obvious that she had to tell people. On the 8th of August, Carrie took to Instagram to tell her followers that she would be having her second baby.
While Fisher is doing a great job of making sure Carrie is comfortable in life, these days, she’s getting a lot of help from her personal trainer, Erin Oprea. “I feel like it’s my therapy every day,” the star remarked.
Carrie is more devoted to working out than she is to luxury activities like getting a massage, for which she has a gift card and still hasn’t used it since Mother’s Day two years ago.
Carrie, originally from Oklahoma, who now calls Nashville, Tennessee her home, explained that being a performer is a tiring career; it takes a lot of work.
According to the superstar, she has to be able to walk across the stage in high heels while singing at the same time. Carrie explained that exercise is something she needs in her life to feel good, and it’s a necessity for her work.
