Carrie Ann Inaba Takes Over Julie Chen's Co-Hosting Job On ‘The Talk!’
According to new reports, The Talk has found a permanent replacement for Julie Chen! Carrie Ann Inaba is set to take over the co-host job.
As you may remember, Chen resigned back in September after her husband Les Moonves' exit from CBS due to a sexual misconduct scandal.
The man was accused by multiple women publicly, claims which he denied and received his wife’s full support.
Ever since then, Inaba has been filling in for Chen along with other hosts.
That being said, it looks like in the end, she had the best chemistry with the other co-hosts on The Talk.
Furthermore, Chen has actually mentioned before that she wanted Inaba to take over her job on the show.
During the emotional clip in which she was announcing her departure from the show, she made sure to give a shout out to the dancer.
‘You’d look awful good sitting in that chair, my Asian sister. I’m just saying.’
At this time, Chen is still hosting Big Brother.
As for the other co-hosts, last month, Osbourne confessed while on the Jim and Sam Show on SiriusXM radio that she and Chen hadn’t been in contact since she quit.
But that’s not to say that she didn’t have only great things to say about Chen, insisting that she enjoyed working with her a lot.
Chen definitely feels the same judging by her goodbye video.
She said: ‘To Sara and Sharon, we have been together since day one at The Talk. I’ll always treasure our friendship. We are the original Three Musketeers. I love you all. And I know this show, and the sisterhood it stands for, will live on for many, many more years to come. You ladies got this, and I cannot be more proud to call you my friends. I love you.’
