Cardi B just launched her very first collaboration with retailer Fashion Nova. The line was launched in LA yesterday.
The collab includes 80 pieces, and Cardi took some of her time to sit down with Vogue and discuss this exciting new line.
She opened up about what inspired her to create this new line of clothing items.

‘They are things that I see myself wearing, like in the ’60s and the ’70s,’ Cardi told the Vogue.
‘I was thinking a lot about what would I wear in the falltime like we have a lot of jackets, we have a lot of dark colors, a lot of mustards, belting, a lot of blues. I love bright things, but I was like, ‘I don’t think people want to wear a lot of bright shit in the wintertime.’ It’s very chic. It’s really more of the things that I always wanted to wear but more affordable,’ Cardi said.
Cardi is a busy woman these days, not to menti0on that she’s also a new mom and she could not be happier about this.
She made headlines just recently after it was revealed that together with rapper T.I. and Chance the Rapper, they will be the judges of a brand new talent show called Rhythm + Flow on Netflix.
The show is a search for the next break out hip-hop star, and it’s set to begin during the autumn of 2019.
Auditions will be held in Atlanta, Chicago, New York and the home cities of all the three judges.
