Cardi B wants to make sure that all her competitors know that it’s not safe to be nominated against her at the 2018 Grammys. She walked the red carpet at the Warner Group Pre-Grammy Celebration this Thursday, and it’s pretty interesting what she had to say.
She was asked what she is looking most forward to when the music’s most important night kicks off live from Madison Square Garden this Sunday.
‘What I am most excited to see on the Grammys Sunday is just, like, me hopefully winning an award,’ cardi B responded. ‘Like, what else?’
‘That’s all I think about, to be honest,’ she confessed. ‘I don’t think about anybody else but me…or the Migos winning.’
On the other hand, lots of her fans started to call her out for being selfish.
‘She should learn how to be humble,’ one of her fans posted and another follower stated that ‘There’s beauty in humility.’
‘How selfish can she be. Ughhhh?’ another fan commented.
‘Sometimes I wanna hate her because she can be annoying but at the same time she’s so funny and honest lol,’ another one of her fans wrote.
The truth is that we really cannot blame her for her desire to win an award because that’s every artist’s dream.
The Grammy Awards will air live from Madison Square Garden this Sunday, January 28, at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on CBS. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for Cardi!
