Becoming a mother for the first time at the age of 25 and amid your career peaking cannot be easy and Cardi B knows that all too well. The rapper definitely has a lot of respect for other mothers as she is realizing how much of a responsibility it is.
Yesterday, Cardi took to Instagram and went live to chat with her followers soon after she announced that she decided to pull out of the tour with Bruno Mars this upcoming fall.
The reason was simple – she was not ready to leave her infant daughter behind as she was told by the doctors it’s not healthy to take baby Kulture along on the road.

As fans remember, when Cardi got pregnant she insisted that she was going to do that, but the reality was different.
Some fans and people in her circle suggested that she gets a nanny but the Bodak Yellow rapper made it very clear that ‘It’s so hard, because I want to be with my baby every second. Like even when I be doing my hair in the other room, I just gotta be around her.’
Aside from being away from her child, Cardi also explained that six weeks would not be enough for her body to recover after giving birth as she initially thought.
Cardi would not want to go on stage and not give her all because she can’t really dance properly.
But the female emcee is working on balancing her career with being a mother which is apparently much more difficult than she imagined, especially because little Kulture is making her feel like she’s ‘met her match.’
‘You just really have to have a baby to see. I just want to say I respect mothers more than ever now. I know I have a project coming out in the fall that I am working on right now. I’m going to work. Like, my life is not over, you know, I just have to take my time to do some things,’ she shared.
