Congratulations are in order for Cardi B for winning the award for Best New Artist at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. Cardi gave a special speech to accept the award, and the crowd went wild for her.
The only strange thing was that there was something or someone missing from her message: she did not thank Offset.
But don’t you worry, because after she finished her speech Offset came over and gave her a sweet kiss, so this probably means that everything is going great between them.
These two also welcomed their baby girl Kulture Kiari into the world back in July, and we hope that everything is okay with them so that they can focus on raising their baby girl.
In her acceptance speech, Cardi made a huge statement: ‘I had the baby, I carried the baby, and I’m still winning awards!’

Cardi said as she accepted her moon man. ‘All the love that my fans, that my friends, that everybody shows me is genuine, is beautiful, and that’s something that God gives me, that you can’t buy, b*tch,’ she added.
It’s also important to note that this was Cardi’s first appearance since welcoming baby Kulture.
She has, however, been pretty open about her experience as a new mom on social media.
About motherhood, Cardi explained that ‘it’s something that no matter how many books you’ve read—because I read books for babies, and, you know, a lot of my friends gave me advice and everything—you have to have a baby to see.’
