We hear that Cardi B’s big night at the Met Gala was not the best. During a brand new interview for The New York Times, the pregnant emcee revealed that she was pretty ‘upset’ her fiancé and baby daddy did not walk the red carpet alongside her.
But as you may already know, the rapper was there; only he posed with his Migos fellow members Quavo and Takeoff from his rap group, Migos.
Meanwhile, Cardi was photographed on the red carpet with designer Jeremy Scott.
In addition to that, the Bodak Yellow rapper also stated that initially, her fiancé was supposed to wear the suit that matched her custom-made pearl-encrusted Moschino gown.
In the end, it was Jeremy who rocked the said suit on Monday night.
Meanwhile, Offset attended the event as a guest of none other than Donatella Versace.
He donned a vibrant Atelier Versace tuxedo that matched with Quavo and Takeoff’s ones.
‘It is like, if y’all got so many people going with y’all, y’all could have let him walk with me and take the two boys,’ Cardi said, referring to the fact that the famous designer had a long list of stars, including Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry.
‘That’s why my baby ain’t never gonna stand out,’ she added.
With fiancé by her side or not, Cardi B’s look for the night was absolutely stunning, and she made many well-dressed lists.
But despite how beautiful the gown and the headpiece were, the rapper explained that they were also ‘extremely heavy.’
It seems like she had a tough time in those clothes, especially because she is also expecting!
