Cardi B isn’t planning on having a relationship slow down her success one bit. The entertainer recently spoke with E! News at the Grammys 2018 and revealed that she would put off her marriage to Offset so she could focus on her exploding career.
On Saturday night, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper showed off her giant diamond engagement ring and spoke with Sibley Scoles in New York City.
While talking with the reporter, Cardi opened up about her possible wedding with Offset, and she admitted that she wants to get married in the fall, but it may not happen.
Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, said she would love a wedding in the autumn season because she “loves the fall time,” but because of their respective careers, it’s not likely to happen.
She said, “I’m touring, I’m putting out an album, he’s touring, putting out an album” – they’re just too busy.
And a wedding rarely takes one day. It often takes weeks or even months to plan it in advance, because of all the work needed to be done.
And for celebrities like the Migos rapper and Cardi B, the ceremony will be tremendously ostentatious. Undoubtedly, they would need at least three months to plan a service.
As you may know, the “No Limit” rapper said, “Yes,” to Offset during an onstage proposal in October of 2017. However, they’re both primarily focused on their careers, touring, merchandising, and making money, so their relationship is tertiary in importance.
Furthermore, while many of their fans are stoked to see them become engaged, some people on social media have questioned the authenticity of their relationship. Fans have speculated that it’s merely a relationship created by their respective publicists and PR teams to develop media headlines and increase exposure to their brand.
