Cardi B Admits To Drugging And Robbing Men In Resurfaced Clip -- Sparks #Survivingcardib Hashtag (Video)
Cardi B has been very open and honest about her past. This personality trait that fans love about her is landing her into more hot water.
Before Cardi B was the A-list rapper that she is today, she was a self-described 'regular degular schmegular girl from the Bronx.' However, nothing about the artist is regular.
It was recently announced that Cardi was suing two social media bloggers for making videos where they made false claims of drug use, prostitution, and herpes. TMZ claimed: "[Cardi] says she's given the women an opportunity to retract their statements, but since they've refused to do so ... Cardi's taking their asses to court. She's suing them for defamation, and seeking an injunction to delete the videos they posted."
Shortly after, a video resurfaced of Cardi B admitting out of her own mouth that she used to lure men in, drug them, and rob them when she was a stripper on the come up. Not only does this not help her case but it has also opened a whole other can of worms that has social media heated.
After people caught wind of the resurfaced video from an Instagram Live the 'Money' artist admitted her crimes in, the hashtag #survivingcardib has gone viral. Viewers of the video not only feel that she was wrong for what she did but they brought up the fair point that if it was a man saying these things -- he would be canceled.
Although this may not be on the scale of what Bill Cosby did, the comedian's name was mentioned in the double standard. Additionally, when Rick Ross released his song 'U.O.E.N.O' that featured the lyrics 'molly in her drink and she didn't even know it' he received major backlash.
The 26-year-old is a successful Grammy-winning artist but this isn't the first time that she made headlines for saying something offensive. When she first rose to fame she was forced to apologize for saying that if her man ever cheated on her she would 'hire a tranny' to sleep with him without his knowledge among other things.
Cardi seemed to indirectly address the new drama when she tweeted.
"I never claim to be a angel I always been a street b**** Ya be glorifying this street rappers that talk and do that grimmey street s*** but they can’t stand a street b****!"
Do you think Cardi B should be canceled?
