According to new reports, Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson are no longer an item! That being said, it looks like yet another Hollywood couple has decided to end things amid the quarantine!
Sources close to the pair shared via People magazine that they broke up after nearly two years of being romantically linked.
The split did not happen now apparently, but back at the beginning of last month while the two were in quarantine separately so it’s safe to say that the isolation did not really contribute to them deciding to call it off.
One source tells People that ‘Cara and Ashley always had their ups and downs before but it’s over now. Their relationship just ran its course.’
Before their breakup, Ashley and Cara were seen out on a shopping trip together in mid-March just before the stores in Beverly Hills started closing because of the scary coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic.
Furthermore, they were not out and about just the two of them since supermodel Kaia Gerber was also with them at the time.
This is, perhaps also the reason why they did not pack any PDA during that outing.
Previously, things looked completely different dynamic-wise, only a couple of weeks earlier, in February, when Cara and Ashley were seen at Paris Fashion Week leaving their hotel while sweetly holding hands.
As for the last time they posted something relayed to each other online, it was at the end of March when Ashley shared a hilarious TikTok clip of her girlfriend imitating Keeping Up with the Kardashians celeb Scott Disick.
The two kept their romance under wraps for a while before they were photographed kissing in August of 2018.
Cara also opened up about their relationship in June of last year, telling E! News about going public that: ‘I don’t know because it is Pride, it’s been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don’t know. It’s been our one year anniversary so, why not?’
