Caitlyn Jenner will receive the Beacon of Hope award on September 22, 2018, at the Face Forward, celebrity gala. Hosted by Jeremy Piven, Face Forward is a non-profit organization that provides reconstructive cosmetic surgery to those who cannot afford it. Typically, the recipients are those who are veterans, victims of domestic abuse or other forms of violence, including human trafficking and have suffered physical disfigurement as a result. Face Forward LA celebrates 10 years and the gala will take place at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. The theme is La Dolce Vita which means the sweet or good life.
In addition to providing physical treatment, Face Forward also provides support that extends to emotional and financial for victims and survivors. Many celebrities support Face Forward and are expected to attend tonight’s gala that includes a silent auction.
Grammy-Award winning Ne-Yo will perform and celebrities such as Lana Parrilla, Sara Gilbert, Charo, Willa Amai, Elisabeth Rohm, Brigitte Nielson, Terrell Owens, and Hannah Zeille will attend. Lana Parrilla also serves as Face Forward’s International Ambassador.
At the 2017 Face Forward gala, Lana Parilla live-streamed on Instagram. Those who want to get behind-the-scenes views of the event may want to check her Instagram throughout the night.

According to Look to the Stars, other celebrities who have supported Face Forward LA in the past include Charlotte Ross, Jaclyn Smith, Vanessa Marcil, Dr. Phil McGraw, and Tom Arnold.
Face Forward founders are Dr. Dave and Deborah Alessi. Deborah Alessi released a statement announcing the programs ability to help veterans.
“Veterans of war are a population that we have been wanting to assist and we are pleased to announce that we have the resources and partnerships in place to make this happen. We are so thankful to the doctors and partners that donate their time to make all of this possible and to help war veterans get the care they need. This year’s goal is to raise one million dollars to be able to serve even more patients, and what a terrific forum to make this announcement and explain the additions to our programs than at our annual Gala. We are excited for the performance, for celebrity guests such as Sara Gilbert, Lana Parrilla, Jeremy Piven and all come out to support us.”
While the VIP seats have long been sold out, those who want to make a donation to Face Forward LA may do so at their official website.
