It looks like Caitlyn Jenner doesn’t approve of former step-daughters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s recent sexy pictures they both posted on their social media platforms. The transgender icon slammed them saying the snaps were in total ‘poor taste.’
As those who follow the Kardashian sisters may have seen already, Kim shared a bedazzled thong, and no top mirror selfie and Kourtney showed off her booty while enjoying the sunshine in Mexico.
Of course, the Internet has been loving the reality TV stars’ body confidence this week, but the same thing cannot be said about Caitlyn.
According to a source, ‘Caitlyn feels like Kim and Kourtney’s latest pics are not only in poor taste but very poorly timed too. During the height of the #MeToo movement, it’s not cool nor a good time to be flaunting half-naked bodies on social media.’
But that doesn’t make sense! Isn’t the point of the movement among other things to teach men that they have no rights over women’s bodies regardless of how they dress?
After all, not few have been the cases where people would victim and slut-shame survivors of rape and other sexual aggression.
The insider went on to explain Caitlyn’s train of thought: ‘Caitlyn feels Kim and Kourtney are sending the wrong message to their millions of followers, that it’s okay to objectify women. Caitlyn has tried for years to get all of the girls to cover up more, but they never listen. Now Caitlyn worries the sisters’ inappropriate posts are setting a poor example for their young children as well.’
Looking sexy is part of the Kardashian brand, so what did she expect?
Apparently, for them to ‘behave with more style and grace.’
‘They’re mothers, and Caitlyn feels that they should behave more responsibly and conservatively.’
She would also want them to use their huge platforms and voice to ‘help elevate young women and encourage them to be more than sex symbols.’
What is your opinion on this? Do you agree with Caitlyn or not?
