The friends and family of Burt Reynolds, including his ex-wife, Loni Anderson, surrounded the late star following his death. Quinton Anderson, his son, and the rest of those close to him attended the Quattlebaum Funeral Home in North Palm Beach, Florida.
Approximately 80 guests honored Burt, and many of his close relatives gave speeches. Bobby Bowden, his old football coach at Florida State University, told heartwarming stories about Burt’s glory days.
After Bowden gave his speech, Anderson dished on her relationship with Reynolds and the 12 years they spent together. Anderson introduced Quinton as her and Burt’s “greatest collaboration.”
Reporters from Fox News spoken with Quinton and his mother just a few hours after the Boogie Nights star passed away at the age of 82-years-old on the 6th of September, from cardiac arrest.

In a statement released, Anderson said she and Quinton were “extremely touched by the tremendous outpouring of love and support from friends and family throughout the world.”
As fans of the Hollywood star know, Anderson and Burt got married in 1988 and went on to adopt their son, Quinton, before finally splitting up in 1994 after just six years. Some notable individuals at the funeral service included Lee Corso and Doug Flutie.
Burt had a complicated life, becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest actors for a period of ten years, but after a failed marriage, and several unfortunate business ventures, Reynolds found himself without work in the scene and without money toward the end of his life.
However, while his life wasn’t always free from complications, his iconic status has lasted through the ages with movies like Boogie Nights, Deliverance, The Longest Yard, and a few others.
