Amid rumors that Britney Spears is planning on giving up music altogether, one insider report claims to know whether she is thinking of releasing some new music in the near further or not! It’s been two decades since her hugely successful debut in the music industry but fans may feel like they have waited double that amount of time for a new record from the Princess of Pop!

Obviously, that’s an exaggeration but since they want to hear more stuff from her again, it really might feel like forever since she’s dropped anything!

In reality, her last album, Glory, was released four years ago, which is definitely quite a long time!

In the meantime, she’s started dating Sam Asghari, she canceled her Vegas residency because her dad had a health scare, checked herself into a mental health facility for a bit and also had to deal with the legal details of her conservatorship.

With all of that happening, it’s no surprise she hasn’t had the time to even think about making more music and one insider tells HollywoodLife that this will not change in the near future.

‘Britney has no plans to make any new music anytime soon. Britney does share with those close to her that she'd like to make a comeback one day again, but she is nowhere near that. Right now, she is working on herself as best as she can as she'd love to regain more independence in her own life,’ the source dished via the news outlet, reffering to her conservatorship situation.

Her focus is to stay ‘on a consistent regimen. Never say never about the new music from her because, with the right team behind her, she can do something, but right now, she is just not in a place to be making any music.’

The main idea is that fans should not expect any music from Britney while in quarantine.
