Britney Spears Calls The New Documentaries About Her Hardships ‘Hypocritical!’
The pop star took to her Instagram to share her opinion on the documentaries about her life that have come out in the last year or so! While Britney Spears has addressed this topic before, it was pretty ambiguous how she really felt and she also seemed to suggest she’d only watched a few scenes floating around social media instead of the whole project.
However, this time around was pretty different, the singer making it very clear that she thought the documentaries about her are weirdly ‘hypocritical’ for focusing only on the negative parts of her public life.
This new post that also featured the obligatory Britney freestyle dancing, comes only a couple of days after a new documentary about her premiered on BBC.
In the caption, she got into detail about this, arguing that the media continues to focus on the negative times in her life and totally ignoring the amazing parts.
‘Geez !!!! 2021 is definitely much better than 2020 but I never knew it was gonna be THIS 😳😳😳 !!!! So many documentaries about me with other people’s takes on my life … what can I say … I’m deeply flattered !!!! These documentaries are very hypocritical … they criticize the media but then do the same thing 🤔🤔🤔?????’

She went on to write: ‘Damn … I don’t know y’all but I’m thrilled to remind you that although I’ve had some tough times in my life … I’ve had waaayyyy more amazing times and unfortunately my friends … I think the world’s more interested in the negative 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ !!!! I mean … isn’t this supposed to be a business and society about THE FUTURE 🤧🤧🤧 ???? Why highlight the most negative and traumatizing times in my life from forever ago????’
