Luckily, she is not alone in this since her boyfriend Sam Asghari has been by her side, showing her a lot of support and showering her with love.
The singer and her father, Jamie, 66, have always been really close, so it makes sense that she put her whole career on hold when he nearly lost his life due to a ruptured colon.
This was two months ago and he was in the hospital for nearly 4 weeks and is still recovering.
Unsurprisingly, the daughter wanted to be his side and help him recover.
Meanwhile, her man ‘Sam’s been the most supportive boyfriend and she cannot imagine going through this hard time without him by her side,’ a source tells HollywoodLife.
The same insider went on to explain that ‘As horrible as this situation’s been for Britney and her whole family, it brought her and Sam closer together. Britney knows she can lean on him through the good and the bad, and she trusts him with her heart.’
Similarly, her family members have also seen how good he is for her and welcomed Sam into the clan with open arms!
That’s very nice to hear! While she’s her father’s pillar right now, it is a very good thing that Britney has her very own support system as well.
The star was also super excited for her residency so the decision to put everything on hold must have been even more difficult.
It was expected to start in February, and just last month, Spears took to social media to post a rehearsal video with some of her male dancers, telling her followers just how much she was looking forward to the residency.
