Brenton Tarrant: Breaking Down The New Zealand Mosque Shooting Video
On March 15, 2019, three people were involved in terrorist attacks on the Al Noor Mosque and the Linwood Islamic Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand. One of those arrested has been identified as Brenton Tarrant. He filmed himself preparing for the attack on the Al Noor Mosque and with a helmet camera, live-streamed video footage of the bloody massacre that left 49 people dead and approximately 40 people wounded. The other two people involved in the terrorist attack have not been publicly identified.
Tarrant was active on 8chan, 4chan, Twitter and Facebook and social media platforms have been scrambling to get his content removed. In regards to the graphic terrorist shooting video, officials do not want you to see it. Youtube, Twitter, and Facebook are asking for people to report it if they come across it and not to watch it.
The actual video of the terrorist attack will not be shared. The following is video from the immediate aftermath as people wailed in pain, lost loved ones and fought for their lives.
Brenton Tarrant was born in Australia, it is currently unclear what his citizenship to New Zealand is. He was part of an underground-white supremacist conspiracy theorist group called "The Great Replacement." It is also the name of his manifesto.
In the video you see Tarrant assembling weapons that have white letters painted on them. They are the names of other mass shooters. He is calm and seemingly in control as he listens to music and follows the signals from his GPS to the Al Noor Mosque.
Dressed as if he was ready for battle, he listened to songs "Remove Kebab" followed by the British Gondoliers March as he drove through streets to reach the mosque.
Armed for the massacre, the video shows him parking his car, retrieving weapons and approaching the doors of the mosque where he opened fire on the peaceful, praying people inside.
Screams and wails can be heard as he callously walked through various rooms opening fire. He stepped over the bodies of his victims as they lay bleeding to death on the floor, exited the building, made his way back in and shot for a second time those who escaped his brutality and clung to life.
He made sure not to spare anyone.
He opened fire on those who were outside and most horrific was one woman who had escaped with barely any breath alive. She lay on the street bleeding, crying out repeatedly, "Help me, help me, help me."
The video showed Tarrant brutally shoot her in the head.
He returned to his vehicle and the song "Fire" by The Crazy World of Arthur Brown was playing. He entered the vehicle and said that it was hard for him to shoot as there were too many targets.
The video is horrific and people should heed the warning of authorities who ask that is is not shared.
