Bravo Opts Not To Bring Back Jill Zarin To 'RHONY' Full-Time
Jill Zarin will not return as a full-time cast member of the Real Housewives of New York after all. The RHONY star will only appear on a few episodes next season as she continues her guest role on the show. The news comes after LuAnn de Lesseps teased that Zarin was returning in full force for Season 11.
"Jill is not back full time. She’s on for a few episodes. She doesn’t know what the future holds," an insider shared.
De Lesseps teased Zarin's return earlier this month. The RHONY star mentioned Zarin in an Instagram post congratulating her fellow co-stars on another season.
The post caused a lot of speculation that Zarin was returning as a full-time cast member next season. De Lesseps deleted the comment shortly after sharing it.
According to Us Magazine , fans spotted Zarin filming with other cast members back in October. An inside source revealed that Zarin filmed scenes with Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley and Sonja Morgan. The scenes took place at the Angel Ball in New York.
Zarin has been a part of the show since the very beginning but took a break after 2011. She has made guest appearances the past two seasons and previously expressed interest in returning in a limited capacity.
Last year, Zarin's husband, Bobby, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Zarin opened up about the death in May and admitted that her life has significantly changed since his passing. She also teased that it will be good to update fans on how things are going in her life.
This includes watching her date again and seeing how her career is progressing. Although Zarin will not be a full-time cast member in Season 11, we should get plenty of updates when she returns as a guest.
With Jill Zarin out, Bravo confirmed that Barbara Kavovit will be introduced as the newest cast member next season. The network has not announced when Season 11 of the Real Housewives of New York will premiere.
