It seems that the apple does not fall too far from the tree as Sy’rai Iman Smith, who is Brandy Norwood’s daughter, seems to have launched her singing career.
Brandy’s teen daughter decided to start with a bang. The 17-year-old daughter of Robert Smith released a new
a song called “At Your Best” and is a tribute to Aaliyah.
Sy’rai’s track, which was produced by Brandy’s nephew, Aaron Smith, was inspired by Aaliyah’s 1994 single, “At Your Best (You Are Love).”
Brandy is, of course, a very proud mother, showed love and support for her daughter by sharing the song accompanied by a sweet note: “Please check out my baby girl @syraismith’s new song #atyourbest produced by my nephew @avgaaron link in my bio. God Bless you all on this great Friday. Angelic voice. Mama loves you.”
Fans who listened to Sy’ rai are raving about her magnificent vocal performance and compared her to her mother.
One person had this reaction: “Ok! Lil Vocal Scripture!!!! We see you!!! Omgoshhhh, you passed it on !!! ❤️❤️❤️ my heart can’t take it!! That’s it! That’s what we are going to call her from here on out. ❤️”

A fourth follower stated: “Wow!!! Sounding just like her momma!! 🔥🔥😍 So so so beautiful! She got her personality in her tone, but you can hear where she got that skill and soul from! God bless you both 🔥❤️.”
Recently, Brandy and her brother, Ray J, made headlines by publicly defending Kim Kardashian for wearing braids as she was being dragged for cultural appropriation.
