Brad Pitt Will Never Remarry After Angelina Jolie Divorce -- Here Is Why
By the looks of things, Angelina Jolie is the last woman to take Brad Pitt's famous last name because he has written off getting married again.
A source close to Pitt told Radar Online that his hellish divorce and custody battles have pushed him to take that drastic decision.
Since late 2016, the former couple has been fighting in private and in courtrooms and in the public eyes over their six children -- Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and 10-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The pal said this is how Pitt feels: "He has said that Angie was enough for him and he is never, ever going to do that again. Brad says he is done with marriage. He doesn’t need it anymore after this last mess.”
The friend stated that he plans to date and added: “Brad won’t be alone, but he’s said that he also won’t get married again.”
According to Hollywood Life , the drama is breaking Pitt's heart.
Another insider shared: “It is breaking Brad’s heart that Angelina is dragging on this custody battle and that things seem to be far from over. He wants nothing more than for his divorce war with Angelina to come to an amicable end as soon as possible so that the kids and the family can begin healing.”
The source went on to say: “Brad desperately wants fair custody of his kids so that they all can have a healthier relationship. Brad is upset and annoyed that Angelina continues to fight him on this issue. Brad would love nothing more than to come to terms with Angelina out of court, but he feels he has tried and tried and she is constantly being unreasonable. Angelina can’t agree with Brad on almost anything, which really hurts him and he wishes things were different.”
The pair will be back in court this month, and it seems that they do not agree on much.
The family friend told the publication: “Angelina feels strongly that she deserves full custody of the kids. She absolutely wants them to have a relationship with Brad, and she will encourage them to spend time with him. But she believes ultimately the best thing for the kids is that they live primarily with her. She does not want them shuttled back and forth between her and Brad. The idea of them living that sort of fractured life is a knife in her heart.”
The pal concluded by: “Angelina is very committed to winning this and will fight as long as she has to until she wins. It’s not about dragging anything out, this is about getting to an agreement that she feels is best for her children.”
The divorce seems very complicated.
