According to Us Magazine, Samantha Bley DeJean, who works as Jolie’s rep, confirmed that a custody settlement was reached. The couple parted ways in 2016 and have six children together: Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox.
Jolie had been fighting for primary custody of the children ever since she filed divorce papers in the early fall of 2016. The custody agreement comes weeks after Pitt transformed his estate to a more kid-friendly environment.
Pitt and Jolie have not commented about the agreement. They also have not said anything about the status of their ongoing divorce.
Although settling the custody issue is important, it still might take some time before they finalize the divorce.
Experts believe that Jolie and Pitt still have a long road ahead of them before they can officially move on. In fact, the two still have to figure out how to divide their assets and agree on spousal support.

Pitt and Jolie own several estates around the world and have amassed vast fortunes in the time they have been together. It could take them months, if not longer, to figure out how to divvy up their assets.
Although the divorce is far from over, at least the kids can rest assured knowing that their parents have reached a custody agreement. With the holidays fast approaching, the timing of the custody settlement could not have been better.
Sources say that Brad Pitt wants to spend the upcoming Christmas holiday with his children. Based on the agreement rumors, it sounds like he got his wish.
