Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are headed to court next month to square off in their bitter custody battle, and they will most likely air some dirty details about their grievances against each other. And according to a new report, fans might get to hear it all straight from Pitt in a new tell-all interview.

On the latest episode of his Straight Shuter podcast, Rob Shuter revealed that Pitt is in talks with Jada Pinkett Smith to appear on her popular Red Table Talk Show.

It isn’t a sure thing that Pitt and Jolie will end up in court because an insider claims that Pitt has reached out to Jolie and is encouraging her to settle.

He is asking Jolie for a settlement because he wants to spare their six children - Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne - from the potential psychological trauma that could result from a nasty court hearing.

“He reached out hoping to persuade Angie that the hearing will cause lasting psychological damage to their children,” a source told Us Weekly . “There will be no winners, no matter what the judge decides.”

It has been over two years since Pitt and Jolie split. The former couple was married for two years but had been together for over a decade.

A source close to the Maleficent actress insists that Jolie is working with Pitt to try and reach a settlement outside of court. But Jolie is determined not to back down.

If their battle in the media during recent months is any indication, a court hearing could get ugly. Jolie has accused Pitt of deadbeat dad behavior, claiming that he isn’t paying enough child support. He has also had to deal with allegations of child abuse and accusations that he has a drinking problem. Meanwhile, Pitt has accused Jolie of trying to drive a wedge between him and his kids.

The judge in the case has told Jolie she needs to do a better job when it comes to encouraging a relationship between Pitt and the kids. He even warned Jolie this past summer that she could risk losing custody if things didn’t improve.

He also gave the former couple a strict visitation schedule to make sure that Pitt could regularly see the kids while Jolie was in London filming Maleficent 2 . Currently, Jolie has primary custody of the kids until they can reach an agreement, or the court issues a permanent custody order.

If a custody trial does take place, it could possibly last two to three weeks. The court did appoint well-known clinical psychologist Dr. Stan Katz to interview Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, and the kids to determine their best interests. And, the judge will use Dr. Katz’s evaluation to work out custody.

Pitt should get full custody except Maddox, Angelina visitation rights. She travels too much and Vivienne had serious head injuries in care of man bodyguard.

I am going to say this everytime I see an article about 2 years of dragging out something a divorce that has lasted longer than the marriage. There has been enough money, clothes, food, and anything and everything all six children will ever need, and to keep this proceedings of not being able to get everything the kids need is a lie because they have access to all tools including food, clothes, a roof over there head, money for psychological issues that are coming from no end to the adults not getting what they want. This all could have been wrapped up a year and half ago, but somebody and I don't know which parent is purposely dragging this out which keeps the kids lives in an upheaval because they know things are not settled and changes are going to be upcoming when they could already know and should already know and be living the life that they are having to wait 2 years plus just to appease whoever the adult is trying up these kids lives, the sickening amount of money lawyers are making off them, and judges having to intervene. You tell me who the problem is, and don't say it's not our business because they or one of them keep it going knowing the press is going to run with it. Stop this please. This is doing nothing but further hampering a child's life to go on and on and the waste of money and time that could go towards more important things when this issue should not even be in the table anymore.
