Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Will Be More Amicable To Each Other In The Divorce
Exes Brad Pitt and the mother of his children, Angelina Jolie, are not exactly singing Kumbaya, but they have agreed that it is time to be more amicable and civilized with each other.
Jolie will face the actor in court this month, and they will attempt to find a way to have to split custody of their children -- Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10.
A reliable source shared with E! how the plan that will unfold in court: “...both parties are working together to try and reach an out-of-court settlement and avoid an actual trial. Both parties want what’s best for the kids.”
However, the insider went on to reveal that Pitt is frustrated because he feels that she is dragging her feet and will ruin the holidays for him.
The source claimed: “Brad is bracing for a challenging holiday season. Brad and Angie have been busy negotiating and deciding on what to do with their kids for Thanksgiving, Christmas and the holidays and plans are being set. Life has been tense between Brad and Angie, and things are getting more challenging as the holidays approach. Their custody trial is set to begin right between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so Brad is bracing for an emotional and taxing holiday season.”
It will not surprise anyone to learn that Jolie disagrees with Pitt's assessments of the situation.
A family shared: “Angelina feels like she's unfairly villainized in this divorce. All she wants is to be a good mom. She’s doing what she feels is the best for her kids and people are passing judgment and acting like she’s the bad guy.”
The person added: “But when it comes down to the opinions of others Angelina really doesn’t waste a lot of time worrying because she knows she can’t change anyone’s mind and she’s not going to bother. All she cares about is what the judge is going to say, that’s the only outside opinion that matters to her.”
Many supporters of the former power couple hope the bickering will end for the sake of their children. The divorce has been going for over two years.
