Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Are Not Getting Back Together Despite Reports
One year after filing for divorce, reports have surfaced that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may be getting back together. But, they simply aren’t true.
Angelina and Brad could be giving their relationship another shot, according to the couple’s unofficial biographer Ian Halperin.
He claimed, "Brad took the first step forward, then they collapsed into each other's arms. There were a lot of tears, nothing was left on the table. They had it out, right there. In that moment, they decided to make a fresh start - it was a 'come to Jesus meeting' that marked the beginning of a new phase in their relationship."
But, the claims are turning out to be completely false.
An insider says that Jolie, 42, and Pitt, 53 are absolutely not getting back together. They are putting their children first though, and that their family is the top priority. They get along for the kids.
Jolie spoke with The Sunday Telegraph over the weekend while promoting her new film First They Killed My Father . In the rarely candid interview, Jolie admitted that she doesn’t like being single but that is her current reality.
Meanwhile, Jolie is planning to get back in front of the camera. After taking the last year off because of her “family situation”, she will be working on the sequel to Maleficent . A script for Cleopatra is also being considered.
However, Jolie’s ultimate goal would be to retire from acting and direct full time . Her recent effort, First They Killed My Father , is a biopic about a Cambodian political activist and her efforts to fight the Khmer Rouge. A film which she wrote, produced, and directed.
Jolie became a citizen of Cambodia ten years ago (she now has dual citizenship status from Cambodia and the United States). The country granted her citizenship because of her humanitarian work.
After she filmed Lara Croft in the country, she often returned to work with refugees on behalf of the United Nations. She also created the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which has built schools and clinics.
She feels connected to the country because it made her a mother. It is where she adopted her first child, Maddox.
