Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Reportedly Have Serious “Issues” To Deal With Before Marriage
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been going strong for almost three years. Rumors that the country singer was going to pop the question have been heating up for weeks. However, even if Shelton does decide to propose soon, fans should not expect a wedding bells to ring any time soon.
A source close to the famous couple revealed to Us Weekly that one of the most significant issues preventing them from getting married is distance. Shelton currently splits his time between his ranch in Oklahoma and Los Angeles, where Stefani lives with her three boys. The current living situation is a significant obstacle for the couple. It is one they are not entirely sure they can come to a compromising solution with either.
Stefani shares custody of Stefani's three sons, Kingston age 12, Zuma age 10 and Apollo, who will celebrate his 5th birthday at the end of February, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. Therefore, it would be difficult for her to uproot her children to live full time with Shelton in Oklahoma. However, the country hunk has made it clear in the past he is not an LA guy that he feels most at home when he is spending time on his ranch.
Another issue they are facing, according to the insider, is they are both skittish about getting married again. Stefani still deals with the guilt of having her sons watch her marriage to their father crumble. Shelton is also a little gun shy after his very messy and public split from Miranda Lambert. Us Weekly is reporting that In an attempt to deal with their issues head-on, the couple has gone to see her priest for some guidance.
Fans have been on marriage and baby watch since it was confirmed that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are a couple. They try to maintain a very private lifestyle, not commenting too much on their relationship. Both continue to make appearances on each other social media pages and do appear to have a genuine love for each other.
It is interesting because neither one has ever mentioned their desire to get married or have a baby.
Could it be that fans want these two milestones for the couple more than they do? What do you think?
