Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani's New Music Is Ruining Christmas For Miranda Lambert While 'The Voice' Coach Has Big Plans For His Lady
This holiday season, Blake Shelton plans to be a kid again, at heart that is. The country star is said to be enamored with Christmas and has cooked up some great plans that will delight his lady love, Gwen Stefani, and her three sons -- Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10 and Apollo, 4.
Money is no object when it comes to the special gifts he plans to get the mother and her boys.
A source told Hollywood Life : “Blake goes all out for the holidays. He loves Christmas more than anything, and he has a whole load of traditions stemming back from his childhood that he loves to follow. Blake has always been a huge fan of the holidays, but now he’s with Gwen, and they have the boys, it’s an even more special time for him.”
According to the insider, Blake has been working on his spectacular Christmas plans for weeks.
The family friend has this to say: “Blake will spend months literally thinking about and planning the perfect gifts, and he loves to cook a huge traditional dinner, but with his own special Southern twist. Each year Gwen and Gavin take turns to have the children for Christmas, and it’s Gwen’s turn this year, so Blake is super excited as he has a bunch of games planned and some really great presents for the boys that he knows they are going to love.”
The pal went on to explain: “Blake is like a big kid himself when it comes to Christmas, and he loves nothing more than spoiling Gwen and the kids. He’s in his real happy place pretty much from Thanksgiving.”
Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert is busy avoiding Blake and Gwen's Christmas' songs.
A source said: “Miranda [Lambert] refuses to watch Blake [Shelton] and Gwen [Stefani]’s new Christmas video. Miranda is not a big fan of Gwen’s music at all, and while she used to love to hear Blake sing, she doesn’t really listen to him anymore — she’s over it. Miranda did her own holiday song with Blake already, she has no reason to be jealous, and she insists she isn’t. Still, she really doesn’t need to be reminded of them over the holidays; she’d rather not see them or think of them.”
Blake is really there for his woman.
