Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Have No Plans To Wed, Why Change Their Perfect Relationship?
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are not in a rush to walk down aisle. The couple reportedly has zero plans to get married, and their decision to maintain the status quo has nothing to do with how their relationship is going.
Stefani and Shelton are reportedly thrilled about being together and could not be more in love. But Stefani is hesitant to exchange vows because of how her marriage with Gavin Rossdale ended.
"Gwen is afraid to get married because she was so hurt by the ending of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale," an insider revealed.
Stefani was married to Rossdale for well over a decade before calling it quits in 2016. The two share three children: Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. The source told Hollywood Life that Stefani plans on marrying the country crooner, but she wants to make sure the timing is perfect.
Although Stefani is still dealing with past demons, she understands that things are different with Shelton. She also knows that she has come a long way in dealing with her divorce, but she isn't ready to tie the knot just yet.
For his part, Shelton completely understands Stefani's hesitancy to get hitched. After all, he has been married and divorced a few times and knows exactly what she is going through.
Fortunately, the two do not feel any pressure to get engaged and Shelton is not pushing the issue.
The country star would reportedly love nothing more than to make Stefani his wife, but he wants to wait until she is ready to take the big plunge.
Stefani has not commented on the most recent wedding rumors, but it is clear that her romance with Shelton is still going strong. The two recently stepped out for a fun-filled outing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and appeared happier than ever.
The Voice star took Stefani ziplining in Anakeesta and surprised a few lucky fans along the way. They also shared a quick bite to eat at the Cliff Top & Bar.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may not be ready to get married, but they are clearly enjoying their time together.
