Last Christmas, rumors swirled that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had secretly gotten married in a backyard ceremony at Stefani’s home in Los Angeles. Now, the wedding rumors have resurfaced, but this time the claim is that the singers got married back in March at his ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
An inside source is claiming that The Voice coach and Hollaback Girl made things official almost six months ago in a simple ceremony that Stefani’s parents and children attended.
“It was the most perfect day,” claims the insider. “Simple and full of love. You could tell these two are soulmates.”
The source added that Shelton “shed a few tears during the ceremony” because he is “a big softy at heart.”
Stefani allegedly wore “a gorgeous fitted pure white” wedding gown, and it wasn’t anything “over the top.” Instead, she chose to keep it simple, just like the ceremony. In addition to Stefani’s parents, Dennis and Patti — plus her three sons Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo — there were also a few dozen other guests who got the chance to enjoy some hunting and fishing on Shelton’s 2,000-acre property.
The insider had more details, with claims of “cookouts and campfires,” plus Shelton showing off his own “herds of deer, antelope, and wildebeests.” Apparently, aside from the custom-made gazebo, everything else “was done in house.”
Shelton and Stefani also kept costs for the event low, since they did it all on his land, and the insider didn’t think it set the couple back more than $20,000 because that is “the kind of low-key life they enjoy together.”
However, even though all of these details from the so-called “inside source” seem to be pretty vague and hard to believe, the story took a shocking turn when the insider claimed that Miranda Lambert sent a congratulatory text message after hearing the wedding rumors. That detail is a pretty big red flag, and it is hard to believe this insider is telling the truth.
Of course, secret celebrity weddings do happen. Cardi B and Offset did get married in a secret ceremony, and then for months and months afterward they claimed they were engaged. So, it isn’t completely impossible that Stefani and Shelton did the same thing. But since the story came from one vague, anonymous source, it is pretty hard to believe.

Representatives from both Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have said that the latest rumors about the couple were false. And, since both singers love to share their relationship on social media, chances are that when they do get married, they will be the first ones to share the news — along with pictures.
