Blac Chyna is praising Kim Kardashian, and this is one of the strangest stories to hit the Internet this weekend.
Kim has found a smart way to grab headlines away from Beyonce and Jay-Z’s surprise album — “Everything Is Love” — she decided to create a boatload of controversy by braiding her hair for the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards.
Kanye West’s controversial wife walked the red carpet of the awards show that took place in Santa Monica, California with her mother, Kris Jenner, by her side.
The 37-year-old reality star and mother of three wore a sexy white crop top and matching skirt.
She had her long black hair in small cornrows braids to once more feud with many members of the African-American community.
While black women are crucifying the makeup mogul for cultural appropriation, her almost sister-in-law, Blac Chyna, has praised her by writing: “Yesssssssss sister.”
One fan said: “Her mom’s white her father was Armenian… People can’t decide to claim one thing to make them closer to black and nowhere in the world is she considered a black woman she’s European…either way Black she is not. Chyna broke she needs Kim help!”
Another commenter wrote: “Why is it every time someone other than a black individual wears braids, it’s cultural appropriation? Why can’t it just be someone admiring a style and trying it out? We are all allowed to express yourself freely. We can’t pick and choose who is allowed to do certain things and then blame others for appropriation simply because we are not fond of them…Sis trynna get back on payroll.lol.”
A third person claimed: “Brazilian weave is not a representation of Brazilian culture. So your point. Braids decent from African Tribes the difference in patterns are a representation of the different tribes. This is history that is not taught in schools(middle, and high school) because African history is deem not important in schools. As for Chyna, still using them and blaming them for her show being gone more like she’s acting thirsty.”
Tyga’s baby mama is never where people expect her to be. What will Rob Kardashian think of this?
