Billy Bush found himself in the hospital in Los Angeles on the 27th of November after he was hit in the head by a golf ball. The former host of the Today Show shared three photos of himself on Instagram as he relaxed in a hospital bed at Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
Billy appeared to be incredibly jovial about the matter, as the former television host wrote, “I think I dodged a bullet, but sadly not a golf ball.”
And while he may not be the best at dodging objects, at least he has a great sense of humor. He began his post with, “Fore!” and thanked the nurses who helped him out.
Bush’s golfing accident comes just two days after Trump allegedly stated that the infamous 2005 Access Hollywood tape was fake. The New York Times published a story where they alleged that Trump told people, including one of his advisers, that the tape was inauthentic.
On the 25th of November, The Times said the president “allegedly suggested to a senator earlier this year that the tape was not authentic.” However, despite the report, many were quick to point out the allegations appear to be closer to he-said-she-said, rather than an actual story.
Either way, Billy Bush and Donald Trump are inextricably linked, due to the release of the notorious recording where Trump bragged about his alleged sexual conquests. In the tape, he jokingly stated he could “grab ’em by the p*ssy” due to his celebrity status.
He said, “when you’re a star, they let you do it.” In a statement released to Us Weekly, Bill said he was “embarrassed and ashamed.” Bush stated he “was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly.”Furthermore, he wished he wouldn’t have “played along.”
