Bill Nye is going viral after appearing on Last Week Tonight With John Oliver  and issuing a video response to climate change and the Green New Deal. The video sketch followed John Oliver speaking favorably about the deal and Bill Nye donned his traditional lab coat, bow-tie, and safety glasses yet he wasn't the same science expert children grew up with on PBS and its affiliates.

Instead, Bill Nye was speaking to adults and didn't hesitate to use a few F-bombs. The profanity-riddled video went viral and has the Internet talking.

Bill Nye says it's time to grow up and realize the planet is on fire

"By the end of this century, if emissions keep rising, the average temperature on Earth could go up another four to eight degrees. What I'm saying is the planet's on f***ing fire. There are a lot of things we could do to put it out -- are any of them free? No, of course not. Nothing's free, you idiots. Grow the f**k up. You're not children anymore. I didn't mind explaining photosynthesis to you when you were 12. But you're adults now, and this is an actually crisis, got it? Safety glasses off, motherf***ers.?

Many people agree with Bill Nye's video presentation and agree that people are not taking climate change and the effects of global warming seriously enough. They hope that Bill Nye's video will help wake people up to the reality that the world is changing due to mankind's carbon footprint.

John Oliver made the following statements about the Green New Deal.

"It is a non-binding resolution that very briefly sets out some extremely aggressive goals, including achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, meeting 100% of the country's power demand through clean, renewable and zero-emission energy sources and creating millions of good, high-wage jobs in the United States. The whole Green New Deal is just 14 pages long. That is seven pages shorter than the menu for the Cheesecake Factor."

The clip encompassed much more than just Bill Nye's viral video sketch. You may see the full segment as it played out with John Oliver and Bill Nye in the video player below.

Nye should grow a pair and debate Robert Zubrin. He'll get a new one torn in him.
