Just one day after Bill Cosby lost the first round of appeals, his wife Camille Cosby released a statement in which she was slamming the ‘biased’ judge who oversaw her husband’s case and maintained his prison sentence. Here’s what she said, as reported by Page Six.
Camille released a statement yesterday, and she rehashed the defense’s rejected appeals arguments, ‘dredging up decades-old allegations that O’Neill and the former Montgomery County DA, Bruce Castor, were involved in a political feud that tainted her husband’s proceedings,’ Page Six notes.
‘An unethical judge sentenced my husband to prison for a charge that the former DA determined was unwarranted and would never be prosecuted,’ writes Camille.

She is referring at Castor’s decision not to change her husband after accuser Andrea Constand reported that Cosby had drugged her and sexually assaulted her.
‘That same judge has hidden the truth about his feud with Mr. Castor for years, most recently by denying my husband’s attempt to put Mr. Castor on the stand before sentencing,’ reads the statement.
Cosby’s wife’s statement is addressed to ‘media outlets who published one-sided stories and/or who refused to give any coverage to our legal filings,’ reports Page Six.
Meanwhile, Bill Cosby is still in jail at the State Correctional Institution Phoenix in Pennsylvania.
Cosby’s team has 30 days to file a direct appeal to the Pennsylvania Superior Court. We’ll keep you posted if something new comes up.
