Bill Clinton is opening up about his infamous affair with Monica Lewinsky back when he was still President of the United States! Not only that but it looks like the man decided to take all the blame, admitting that he now feels ‘terrible!’

This part of the story was shared in the new ‘Hillary’ documentary and so, it makes sense that it also contains his wife’s point of view!

Hillary shared that the whole betrayal simply ‘devastated’ her at the time.

A lot of people still remember the affair between, at the time, President Bill Clinton and White House intern Monica Lewinsky.

It’s hard to forget even when the general public is concerned, let alone when it comes to those involved directly!

The man apologized for his affair in the ‘90s but he never also explained his reasons until now.

In the documentary that is yet to air on Hulu, HollywoodLife reports that he says: ‘You feel like youre staggering around, you have been in a 15 round-prize fight that was extended to thirty rounds and here is something that will take your mind off of it for a while, that is what happens. Everyone's life has pressures and disappointments and terrors and fears of whatever. Things I did to manage all my anxieties for years. I am a different, totally different person today than I was 20 years ago.’

He goes on to admit that ‘I feel terrible about the fact that Monica Lewinsky’s life was defined by it, unfairly I think.’

Indeed, the other woman was only 22 years old when the affair took place and then it was exposed.

She has previously shared via a Guardian interview in 2016 that she was suicidal following the scandal and she was ‘very close’ to actually taking her life.

‘Over the years I’ve watched her trying to get a normal life back again, but you’ve got to decide how to define normal,’ Bill also says.
