Beyonce has recently announced a brand new partnership with Adidas in order to develop new signature footwear and apparel. The Shade Room is here with some pretty juicy news regarding another proposal that she had before the one coming from Adidas.
It seems that before Adidas, Beyonce was considering Reebok for this partnership.
TSR reported that ‘Writer Nick De Paula said on @thejumpespn that #QueenBey had a meeting with Reebok but declined to work with them because no one in the room looked like her or reflected her background.’
‘For her, it really goes beyond that. It’s more than putting her name on the shoe. It’s about having an imprint on the company, impact in terms of diversity,’ TSR continues.

Her fans definitely became very impressed with her decision. Getting over the fact that people reacted crazy and freaked out when they saw TSR’s title, they pretty much agreed with her gesture in the comments section.
Someone posted ‘I read “Beyoncé recently passed on” and my heart dropped. Y’all gotta be a lil careful with these headlines now 😩😂😂😂😂’
Another follower said ‘And people still continue to hate on Bey?!? Outrageous! Thank you, Beyonce for putting your money where your mouth is. ❤️🎉’
One commenter noted that ‘You go outside you see a diverse group of people. So it should be the same when you enter these office buildings. Absolutely no reason why not one person of color was in that room.’
Someone else wrote ‘Ironic seeing as Adidas was created by a former Nazi who was close to Adolf Hitler. But yes, it’s for the culture….’
One follower had something to add and said ‘But people dissed Kanye for working with Adidas.’
What do you think about Beyonce’s choice?
