Beyonce Is Confident She'll Win An Oscar For Her ‘Lion King’ Song Titled 'Spirit'
The superstar’s brand new song for The Lion King remake, ‘Spirit’ might just bring her an Oscar and Beyonce is really looking forward to it! Apparently, the singer is hopeful that she’ll be walking home with the Academy Award!
One source close to the performer who voices Nala in the reimagining of the beloved Disney animated movie, says that ‘Beyonce is proud and overjoyed for The Lion King to come out and she just loves her work on her new song ‘Spirit.’ She knows that it’s going to be in the discussion for award season and she would be honored and feel very blessed to be nominated and win multiple awards for the song.’
They went on to dish that Queen Bey is more than confident that she will be the winner next year at the Oscars.
After all, ‘just as nice as it is to be nominated, let’s be honest, people want to win and Beyoncé wants to win the Oscar for ‘Spirit‘ and actually expects to win for the song. She didn’t become Beyoncé thinking she couldn’t do something and she is convinced that she will be having a really great night when the Oscars come around next year.’
It makes sense, and her fans are definitely also convinced she deserves to get that trophy for her contribution to the amazing soundtrack.
Getting an Oscar is a huge honor and Beyonce apparently really wants it.
As for the film, it premiered on July 9 and the singer was there on the red carpet looking stunning in a tuxedo dress with diamond embellishments and a long, sheer skirt.
