While in attendance at the September Democratic debate, Beto O’Rourke slammed the current president and he held nothing back! The former Texas congressman called Donald Trump a white supremacist and insisted that he is a huge danger to not only immigrants but also Americans of color!

Amid a debate about the number of mass shootings that tragically happened this past summer, O’Rourke blamed Trump.

He pointed out that one that opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, taking the lives of 22 people and injuring 24, had a manifesto that included a lot of the offensive remarks about minorities that the president had made before.

After all, Trump has been going on and on about building a wall between the US and Mexico and most of the attack’s victims were Latino.

During the debate, O’Rourke stated that ‘Racism in America is endemic and it is foundational. We can mark the creation of our country not on the 4th of July, 1776, but on August 20, 1619, when the very first kidnapped African was brought here against his will. And in bondage, built the greatness, success and wealth that he, or his descendants would not be able to participate in and enjoy fully.’

He went on to advise that ‘We have a challenge to address this in the education system… healthcare… or the fact that there's ten times the wealth in white America than Black America. But we also must call out the fact we have a white supremacist in our White House and he poses a mortal threat to people across this country.’

He continued to diss Trump, saying that while he was not the one to pull the trigger, his words have definitely provided the ammunition.

Furthermore, he stressed that America has always had a racism problem. But while it did not appear once Trump was elected, O’Rourke argued that the Donald had surely been 'fanning the flames.'
